Production Operative - Lates

As a Production Operative, you'll work in our factory, on a production line, helping to make our products, which include Butcher's Nourishing Food for Dogs and Blink! cat food.

• be prepared to work with raw meat material
• Be capable of manual handling tasks (including regularly lifting raw materials weighing 25kg)
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in order to follow procedures safely and efficiently
• Be able to work to deadlines
• Maintain hygiene standards - we are a food factory. Full training will be given to work to expected standards
The role will also involve:
• Operating certain machines (such as bin lifts and mixers); prior experience is desirable, but training will be provided
• Carrying out pre-start checks on your area of responsibility to verify our safe ways of working are being adhered to
• Recording of data electronically on factory floor touch screens as well as some paper-based documents (this requires good written English)
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and keeping waste to a minimum
