Full Job Description

The Planner is crucial to our manufacturing operations, ensuring the availability of finished goods in line with company objectives.,

  • Develop annual production plans and identify gaps
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process
  • Optimize production schedules with the Production Manager
  • Maintain optimal levels of Work In Progress (WIP)
  • Manage stock movements within the Stock Management System (SMS, like SAGE)
  • Control new item codes and Bill of Materials (BOM) within SMS
  • Provide KPI reports on Conformance to Plan (CtP), machine efficiency, and production waste
  • Specific Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate to develop a twelve-week manufacturing schedule
  • Prepare production schedules and lists of required materials
  • Ensure production runs align with plans and maximize equipment usage
  • Coordinate with QC for efficient processing of inbound goods
  • Accommodate seasonal trends and special product promotions
  • Order Allocation:
  • Generate monthly order requirements within stock levels
  • Update batch records daily and allocate batches efficiently
  • Reconcile all manufactured product batches
  • Stock Management System:
  • Create new item/product codes and BOMs
  • Monitor and process daily write-offs
  • Control stock adjustments within SMS
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Manage reporting systems and continuous improvement programs
  • Attend meetings, produce reports, and perform other duties as required

    Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing planning role.

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
