Full Job Description
Here at Crown Paints we are looking for a Production Scheduler on a 12-month fixed-term contract, who will be responsible for production projects to produce schedules and plans and estimate the human resources, tools, equipment needed to manufacture products., + Administration and daily maintenance of Crown Paints' Hull Production Schedule in Excel.
+ Communicating with Manufacturing, Quality & Filling teams.
+ Feedback scheduling information to the planning team.
+ Lead scheduling meetings, daily and weekly, with all relevant departments.
+ Providing daily updates in manufacturing and filling, including suggested improvements, advise and challenging non adherence of the agreed production schedules and due dates.
+ As a key member of the Supply Planning Team you will play a key role in communicating with all key stakeholders (Logistics, Production, Services and Planning) to ensure we deliver on time to our customers
+ Other duties in the Supply Planning Office include
o Control of batch cards issued to production, locate any missing cards.
o Ensuring Pack & Raw Material availability prior to production release
o Facilitate and run the weekly scheduling meetings where planning will present the weekly schedule to production
o Procurement of consumable items key to production output.
o Maintaining excel schedule files as required.
o Managing control and reporting of semi finished goods in bulk containers
We are looking for a dedicated team-player who has experience using MS Office and SAP. You must have great organisational and communication skills, and have ideally worked in a a manufacturing environment and have some scheduling/planning experience but this is not essential., + Computer Literate with a strong bias towards excel & SAP
+ Basic understanding of supply chain processes.

+ Effective time management skills.
