As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems Offshore team based in Newcastle UK, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system. Partner with the best The Production Standardization Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized processes and specifications for our product lines. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure product consistency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. As a Production Standardization Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing product standardization strategies to streamline processes and improve product quality.
  • Develop and maintain a manufacturing training academy to improve the workforce flexibility and career progression.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for standardized processes, including design standards, testing protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments of products and processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Analysing product performance data and customer feedback (Internal and external) to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.
  • Working with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure that standardized practices are followed throughout the production process.
  • Staying current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to inform standardization efforts.
  • Training and supporting team members in standardization practices and procedures.
  • Be vocal and a multiplier around HSE and quality culture.

    Have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Have proven years of experience in product standardization, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Have a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, product lifecycle management, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Be proficient in, data analysis tools, project management software, power apps and scheduling tools.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Have proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
