Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented Production Support Associate -to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Goods Receiving Department in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom - this is a 3 month FTC

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhancing Workplace Safety: Proactively promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards by identifying and correcting hazards, ensuring a safer work environment for everyone.

  • Ensuring High-Quality Output: Conduct quality inspections and raise concerns to minimize costs and exposures, contributing to the production of high-quality products.

  • Supporting Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in continuous improvement activities, helping to enhance quality, safety, processes, and employee development.

  • Maintaining Operational Efficiency: Perform assigned roles with high competency, adhering to Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology to maintain optimal process performance.

  • Fostering a collaborative Environment: Communicate effectively with your team and support teams, promoting a collaborative and productive workplace.

  • Adapting to Meet Goals: Remain flexible and willing to take on miscellaneous duties as required, ensuring that manufacturing goals are met even in dynamic situations.

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  • Warehousing Experience desirable

  • FLT Licence would be an advantage but not essential
