Production Team Leader

Leading a team of circa 10, the job requires a highly motivated team leader to run the production plant and lead the team to achieving their daily targets and company objectives.

· Delivery of the day to day plan

· Ensure H & S is to the highest standard

· Continuous improvement: Monitoring output and changeovers and looking to make improvements

· Provide order status information for supply chain personnel

· Investigating manufacturing variances and improve yield

· Support Quality Manager with producing high quality goods

· Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and ready for use

· Ensuring works orders are completed effectively and ERP is updated on a timely basis

· Ensuring their role in product release and quarantine procedures are followed, that ensures quality and legality standards are maintained

· Opening and closing the facility timely

· Experienced in delivering Continuous Improvements within a manufacturing environment, can manage change and positively influencing personnel to drive initiatives forward

· Used to working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· IT Literate - MS office and used to working with ERP systems

· Excellent communication / people skills, quick to comprehend situations and act with tact and diplomacy, motivates others to achieve

· Takes ownership of problems, resilient, finds solutions and actions them

· Persistent in order to get jobs done (a completer)

· Remains positive when under pressure

· Numerate and pays attention to detail

· Intelligent and uses initiative, curious

· Enthusiastic and quick to respond to the needs of the business

· Adaptable, hands-on approach
