- This role focuses on helping design and produce mechanical parts and systems for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and similar products.
- You'll use CAD software to create and update designs, working with the team to make sure customer needs are met and everything runs smoothly.
- You'll also help improve existing products and processes to keep the company at the top of the wastewater treatment industry. Role Overview This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Senior Engineer and based in Aston Clinton. You'll work with the Kingspan Water Engineering Team to design and improve products like wastewater treatment systems and pumping stations, helping to meet customer needs and grow demand for our products worldwide.,
- Use CAD software (mainly SolidWorks, some AutoCAD) to design and update products, including:
- Wastewater treatment systems
- Septic and holding tanks
- Pumping stations (sewage, effluent, surface water)
- Rainwater harvesting systems
- Make product updates and improvements.
- Work with sales and process teams to create new designs.
- Provide technical support on product design and installation.
- Create sales documents, training materials, and production drawings.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project work.
- Stay updated on new materials and construction methods.
- Manage product codes and bills of materials.
Recognised certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering/or similar. - Some basic CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD experience is advantageous).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team with confidence to manage individual projects when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
