Full Job Description
We have the opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician/Science Manufacturing Technician to join the Pharmacy Aseptic Services team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust and contribute to the implementation of the Pharmacy Services strategy, striving for excellence to provide the highest standards of care., The Pharmacy Aseptic Services provides aseptic preparation of medicines (including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, adult and neonatal parenteral nutrition preparation) for patients of the Trust. The main duties include the supervision and accuracy checking of all aspects of the aseptic services process and working closely with the lead technicians to assist in the co-ordination of service delivery, training and maintaining quality assurance within the department.
As well as being motivated and enthusiastic, the successful candidate will be a Pharmacy Technician/Science Manufacturing Technician. Previous experience of accuracy checking and working in an Aseptic Services Pharmacy environment is essential.
