Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Production Technician to join the Pharmacy team in the Sterile Production Unit, Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).You will be joining a team of hardworking and dedicated professionals who formulate, prepare and aseptically compound medicines for our most vulnerable patients and external customers., You will be aRegistered Science Technician with the Science Council or GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician. If you do not have either of these registrations, training will be provided for you to complete the Science Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship and Level 3Diploma in the Principles of Aseptic Pharmaceuticals Processing to become a Registered Science Manufacturing Technician, on completion you will be able to fulfil all elements of the job role. The SMT course runs over a 2 year period where tutoring sessions will be delivered online by subject matter experts weekly, accompanied by study time to complete relevant coursework and assignments.The post holder will be paid a spot salary of £26,110 per annum until this qualification and registration is gained.
