Full Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as a Professional Adviser in the Rights Respecting Schools Team.

UNICEF UK's Rights Respecting Schools Award is an innovative and creative Programme that aims to embed the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in the ethos and practice of schools. The vision of the Programme is that all children in the UK learn in a rights respecting school community where the CRC is fully embedded in values and practice. Supported by a Senior Professional Advisor, you will promote the RRSA Programme in schools and your allocated London boroughs, supporting schools to achieve and maintain their rights representing practice.

You will contribute to the promotion, development and growth of the Programme within your region and will build relationships with key stakeholders. A confident and results focused individual, you will have proven experience of working strategically at a senior level with children and young people in UK schools. You will also be an advocate for children's rights, demonstrating a strong commitment to the CRC. Strong IT and communication skills are essential, including the ability to work efficiently, remotely and to manage multiple demands and priorities.

Please bear in mind that when you write your response to our application questions, you demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and understanding of the role requirements and how well UNICEF UK's values and mission aligns with yours. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT to generate your answers, will automatically exclude your application from our recruitment process.
