Full Job Description
An exciting position has become available within the children's services for a Psychological Clinical Lead for our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Barking & Dagenham. The Psychological Clinical Lead will lead and drive the service forward working with key stakeholders across Health, Social Care and Education in order to deliver a seamless service including working very closely with our Autism service. We have recently partnered with the University of Cambridge to drive excellence and research in the field of paediatric autism, and this will be an opportunity for the right candidate to drive these forward by working in collaboration to drive clinical excellence within CAMHS and our Autism services., You will be clinically responsible for the CAMHS Services portfolio and pathways across Barking and Dagenham psychological therapies as well as providing directorate-wide leadership on specific issues. You will therefore have well-honed performance and clinical management skills, etc. You will also head up a range of service development and Quality Improvement initiatives directly as well as working with and through your teams, colleagues and peers to deliver directorate and system wide improvement.
Your ability to engage and lead teams through change and act as an expert negotiator will be vital. You will focus on outcomes and motivated by your drive to deliver the highest quality care while ensuring the best possible patient experience.

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata).
