Position Summary As a Harness Professional Services Sales Engineer (PS SE), you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of Harness Professional Services. You'll leverage your deep technical expertise and sales acumen to champion our service offerings to potential customers. You'll work collaboratively with the Harness Sales team to position the right services, ensuring customers achieve their software delivery goals. About the role

  • Proactively partner with Harness Sales to position Harness Professional Service.
  • Develop compelling services presentations and proposals tailored to specific customer needs, highlighting how services can maximize the value of the Harness platform.
  • Own technical scoping process for all Harness services and modules, ensuring accurate assessments and clear roadmaps that demonstrate the need for professional services.
  • Own the SOW process including drafting customized SOW's to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring clear value and justification for services.
  • Collaborate with Delivery teams to ensure services requirements are understood and can be translated into detailed design and implementation plans.

    5+ Years of proven experience in a technical sales/services role, preferably within the software delivery or DevOps space.
  • In-depth understanding of software delivery methodologies and DevOps
  • Strong technical knowledge of Harness.io platform and its capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in scoping technical projects and creating clear and concise SOWs.
  • Passion for staying abreast of industry trends and innovations in software delivery.
