Programme Controller

Southern Water are looking for a Programme Controller with excellent analytical skills and excel skills to be responsible for providing effective and accurate schedule, cost, regulatory and risk management services within our Capex Investment Programme.

You will provide insight to the Programme and Portfolio Managers as well as key stakeholders such as Sponsors, to facilitate informed decision making and enable strategic outcomes within agreed timescales, budget and performance constraints.

Your previous experience in a similar role will see you comfortably exert significant influence on standardisation of processes and procedures, including quality control, change control and version control, and be accountable for ensuring that compliance and governance processes are maintained in all aspects of project, programme and portfolio planning, delivery and closure as well as adherence to investment policies, procedures and processes

You will support the provision of intelligence and insight to Programme and Portfolio Management for the development of a fully optimised programme of works that will support the effective and efficient delivery of corporate outcomes.

The Programme Controller will be responsible for collating, analysing and presenting information to support the insight of the Portfolio and analysing Corporate Reporting' and outcomes / outputs for the investment Programme to allow timely and efficient investment decisions.

You will have excellent data analysis skills demonstrable from you previous roles as a Programme Controller or PMO as well as be highly proficient in Excel.

You will be commercially astute and have the ability to think strategically across the organisation and influence Senior stakeholders.
