Full Job Description

· To manage progression and documentation of requirements definition, work-streams, deadlines, decision-making, actions and risks, reporting to the CEO and the Executive Team.

We need you to embed a high-performance culture built on inclusivity, engagement, collaboration and continuous improvement. Stakeholder management will be an important aspect of the role. Experience of digital and data led transformation with budgetary control is essential.,

  • Strong leadership, influencing and enabling skills to influence stakeholders across the group.
  • Proven experience of hands-on delivery of significant product development, reshaping content, processes and people led programmes.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and secure high performance to deliver on the value proposition.
  • Ability to challenge and change direction to meet strategic objectives
  • Credible self-starter bringing energy, resilience and commitment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, Qualified in programme and project management methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2 or APM
  • Good understanding of change management.
  • Strong cross-functional background, and specifically publishing/subscription business experience
  • Ability to navigate complexity and sensitivities associated with managing change and reorganisation in a small organisation with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience of leading and delivering transformational change and the ability to convey a compelling and engaging vision of change.
  • Experience of translating strategy into delivery through benefits realisation, plans, programmes, people and culture.
  • Experience required:

    The role is for one year on a fixed term contract for £120k with a good chance it may continue on after the first year.
  • This will only work if you have publishing in your back ground and it would be helpful if you are familiar with publishing on line. We need someone sophisticated for this role, it was described to me as an Iron fist in a silk glove, someone who can work with people at all levels and will ruthlessly keep the modernisation programmes on track.
