Full Job Description

To be an active tutor who is delivering all levels of Maths from Entry level to GCSE to support the Curriculum Manager for the management, development and delivery of all aspects of Maths programmes across the Service. In addition, to be able to step in and cover classes for the Maths team at short notice.,

  • Assist and support the delivery and management of the Maths team
  • Deliver a range of Maths courses from Entry level to GCSE
  • Identify new developments, initiatives and practices pertinent to the Maths curriculum
  • To assist with data and financial monitoring procedures
  • To contribute to planning and reviewing the Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan of the team in line with the Service Plan and Directorate and Corporate objectives
  • Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
  • Relevant up to date teaching experience and a qualification at level 4 e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, B.Ed.
  • Minimum of Level 4/5 subject specialism qualification in Maths.
  • Excellent organisational skills will be needed to assist the Curriculum Manager with the development and management of teaching and learning within the Post 19 sector; with up to date Practitioner experience in the curriculum area relevant to the post.
