Full Job Description

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead in the management and coordination of all LFA courses, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and the short courses. As a Programme Manager, you will play an important role in the delivery and development of the accredited programmes and short courses, working closely with the Courses Team, to ensure our curriculum is delivered through outstanding learning and teaching practices, and that a supportive and inclusive learning environment is created for all stakeholders, promoting engagement, creativity, and personal growth.,

  • Academic Curriculum Development, Delivery and Resource Management

  • Programme and Course Innovation, Review and Reporting

  • Academic Management and Support

  • Academic Quality Assurance and Standards Management

  • Assessment Management, Moderation and Student Performance

  • Academic Registry, Reporting, Compliance

    You will need a master's degree or higher in Film, Media, Education, or a related field and significant experience in academic programmes and course management within an educational institution., Applications are invited from individuals with a background in higher education programme management, demonstrating both a passion and understanding for filmmaking as well as a thorough understanding of higher education administration, policy and process., Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Proven experience in programme and course management in an educational setting.

  • Experience in curriculum development, pedagogical principles, and assessment methods.

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines.

  • Effective leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Passion for film and media education, with an understanding of the evolving industry landscape.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and creative environment.

  • Knowledge of MS Office or equivalent, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint required.

  • Experience in team management, proven experience in managing change, setting standards and developing high-performing people with a development focus and proactive style.

  • Experience in addressing student complaints and service setbacks professionally and efficiently.

  • Role Details

    Salary: £40k - £50k per annum

    Hours of Work: 9:00am - 5:30pm, usually Monday - Friday, occasional weekend working may be required depending on company needs.

    Hybrid working will be considered.
