Types of flexibility could include:
+ Part-time - less than 37.5 hours per week., Working as Lincolnshire Programme Manager to this national screening programme, applicants should have excellent knowledge of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and the processes within it. The Programme Manager will work with Clinical and Administrative colleagues to ensure smooth and safe provision of Bowel Cancer Screening in Lincolnshire.
Full training for the post will be given but all applicants must have previous experience of managing teams and working within the NHS. Experience of working within national screening programmes is desired but not essential.
We're looking for applications from people who:
Understand the complex nature of providing community based screening in Lincolnshire
Are able to work collaboratively with local and National stakeholders
Understand the importance of governance and audit in healthcare, Work with the Operational Service Manager, Clinical Director and Lead Specialist Screening Practitioner and Team to design and implement plans to enhance patient safety, productivity and efficiency.
Produce and present reports on a range of key performance indicators to local and national stakeholders.
Monitor income and expenditure within the service, escalating issues where appropriate.
Line manage members of the screening administration team, ensuring policies are followed.
Work with the Screening Quality Assurance Team, Commissioners, NHS England and ULHT to ensure the Lincolnshire BCSP meets all required standards, targets and key performance indicators.
Monitor capacity and demand for the service organising clinics in appropriate locations to enable access for all patients.
Work closely with the Clinical Director and Endoscopy Services to ensure screening programme patients are seen, diagnosed and referred appropriately.
Be a point of contact for ULHT and other healthcare colleagues
Work with the Clinical Director and Operational Services Manager for Endoscopy, Physiological Sciences & Screening in the production of business plans and business cases.
Resolve operational issues within the programme as they arise - escalating where required.
Implement, monitor and champion governance processes within the department, working to Trust policies at all times.
