Programme Manager - Diabetic Eye Screening

Line management of the team, with overall accountability and responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of patient/client care through the provision of effective clinical and managerial leadership. To lead, motivate and support the team to facilitate best practice in both Sunderland and South Tyneside, co-ordinating and communicating between hospital and community setting in order to facilitate a safe environment in all settings. To lead a continuously improving service, by ensuring systems are in place to support clinical governance, quality monitoring and on-going research and audit of practice Ensure systems and processes are in place to maintain patient safety.
