Full Job Description
The Transformation Programme Manager role makes a direct contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of our population and ensuring the sustainability of our services. The post holder will lead and deliver strategic improvement initiatives within the trust to help achieve the trust's objectives - to enhance patient care and experience, improve operational efficiency, and financial sustainability. This role is crucial in supporting the Trust's transformation agenda, working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
In partnership with Senior Responsible Officers (SROs) and Project Leads, the Transformation Programme Manager will guide and support the delivery of key improvement projects across business areas. This includes managing essential governance activities such as milestone planning, risk and issue tracking, and change control to ensure structured, high-quality project execution., Working with clinical and divisional teams, the Transformation Programme Manager will help identify, plan, and implement service improvements aligned with the Trust's goals. The role requires strong analytical skills to assess and prioritize complex information, supporting large-scale, cross-functional change in alignment with Trust performance metrics.
The post holder will need to demonstrate strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work autonomously. They will also play a proactive role in the promotion of service improvement, programme and project management methods. This will take the form of coaching, help, advice and guidance or be of a specific nature in the form of facilitated workshops.
