Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project and Programme Support Officer (PPSO) to provide essential support for programme and project management. This role will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive assistance, including software support, guidance on project tools (MS Project and others), and the promotion of best practices in project management. The PPSO will play a key role in ensuring consistent and effective project governance, helping our teams to define, monitor, and report on project progress with clarity and efficiency. This role will be instrumental in promoting adherence to project management best practices across the council, ensuring all projects are consistently defined, governed, and managed. The PPSO will oversee the preparation of project status reports, enabling transparent and regular updates for stakeholders.
