Full Job Description

Due to continued growth and an upturn in programmes and workload, we are now recruiting for 3x Programme Quality Engineers to join our existing Quality team. In this role, you will join as a member of the Programme Quality Team, directly reporting to the Programme Quality Manager. You will communicate with and present information to all levels and cross functions in Safran Seats. You will contribute greatly towards customer liaison for in-development programme and new programme introduction quality topics., Support contact for customers on quality aspects and assist/support the Program Manager on these points; Ensure that all customer needs and requirements are taken into account (customer satisfaction); Support the establishment of Quality Assurance Plans and related procedures, obtain acceptance from customers, and maintain the plans; Participate in defining the Program Management Plan (PMP) with the Program Manager, support and assist the Program Manager to ensure and monitor its effective implementation and execution; Monitor non-conformities analysis and relevant action plan, and communicate to customers on quality events of programs (quality escape, concessions, etc) and reduce them; Work with the Procurement organisation to validate the choice of suppliers and ensure the appropriate data is being provided to suppliers to enable them to be successful as well as validating quality assurance plans and processes for each supplier. Our in-house design studio co-creates the most innovative experiences in the sky with our airline customers and partners. Our dedicated engineering, production and in-service support facilities are integral to delivering a high-end quality product that we keep flying throughout the life of programme. We are fully supported by a wide team of support functions, from HR to Finance, to Business Development and Planning and Logistics, our team is built to give Safran Seats an end-to-end capability in house in the UK.

HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering / Manufacturing related discipline D/PFMEA & Control Plans; experience and full detail understanding and execution Risk Analysis Programme management gate process understanding & exposure Demonstrated experience supporting Quality Assurance activities across multi-disciplinary programmes Excellent problem solving skills (8D, Six-Sigma etc) Competent communicator with an ability to establish trusted working relationships across all departments and with Customers Proven track record on supporting teams / projects to deliver milestones No candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
