To help us achieve this we're recruiting a Programme Support Officer, who'll help us manage our corporate programmes and support team members with administrative tasks. We currently use Microsoft Excel to manage most of our work, so that's a key requirement of the job. However, we're also supporting the council's modernisation, and the successful applicant will be helping us to move to more sophisticated software solutions over time and manage these day-to-day. Training and development on all aspects of the role will be provided and there is a wide range of support both in the team itself and across the organisation.

The hours of the role are 25 hours per week, with flexibility to be given to the right candidate on the arrangement for the days and hours to be worked.

Please note that this role requires you to have NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent experience., Are you proactive and organised with a knack for administration and coordination? Join our friendly, dynamic team at Bolton Council as a Programme Support Officer and help us join up our work and deliver improved outcomes for our residents and businesses. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail who can help team members with administrative and project management tasks. If you're keen to get involved in a wide variety of work, learn about the council and develop your skillset then please apply. This role has been created as a 25 hours per week opportunity, to make it accessible to people who, for a variety of reasons, might find it hard to work full time.
