Progress & Employability Coach - Term Time Only

We are currently seeking to employ a committed and motivated Progress and Employability Coach, to work with the Head of Department, teaching staff team and the student service team to contribute to the planning and delivery of key aspects of the Personal Development Plan and support for students. Set high standards and expectations for the programme to support and achieve outstanding provision to further advance students' personal development, behaviour and attitudes to each other, learning and work. To deliver 1:1 reviews and group sessions in line with College tutorial programme. The ideal candidate will provide effective coaching for students on an individual basis or in a group setting to support success and progression for an identified caseload of students linked to curriculum areas.

• Level 3 qualification.
• Qualified to Level 2 (GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent) in English and maths (or willing to work towards completion within a specified time frame).
• Good administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate and relevant records in line with quality procedures.
• Interest and understanding of current educational initiatives
• Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative to meet the needs of the College
• Ability to maintain relevant records and documentation accurately
• Willingness and ability to undertake further professional development linked to the Department curriculum and College needs
• Ability to achieve high standards working under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literate, and familiar with video conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Facetime.
• Current driving licence and use of car
