Full Job Description

The primary role of the Project Administrator is to support the Project Managers and Project Team required to support the role out of sites: the role will cover all administrative duties required for the smooth running of the project. Assisting with outage requests, access and general administrative duties, whilst maintaining internal and external databases with accurate information. Working 2-3 days in the office (Manchester)., Outages

  • Manage the outage requests received from the project team, ensuring that the requests are submitted within SLA and are right first time

  • Provide data to support the applications, showing measurement against SLA to support the bi-weekly senior meeting with the customer


  • Access
  • Assist the project team, and Site Delivery Managers with applying for access to sites.

  • This involves liaison with site providers, third parties, and site provider agents to secure access for the proposed dates.


  • Delivery/Contractual Management
  • Data management and exception reporting

  • Meeting internal and customer SLA's and quality targets across a range of activities in support of the project team

  • Assisting with the planning and completion of Fault and Defects, issued by the client


  • Client Management
  • Update and maintain an accurate reflection of client & internal databases to issued programmes ensuring alignment.


  • Supplier Management
  • Coordination of external suppliers as requested by the project and operational teams


  • Systems
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of internal and Customer systems and processes relevant to the current area of work.


  • People
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and client teams, establishing trust through honesty.

  • Ensure all tasks are undertaken in accordance with the appropriate Customer and Clarke Telecom guidance

    Proven working with IT software at an advanced level (Excel, Word, Power point, Databases etc.)

  • at least 2 years in a professional administrative role

  • Proven high level of written and oral communication skills

  • GCSE B minimum in English and Maths

  • Proven experience of managing conflicting priorities and working in a timely manner to deadlines, recognising the difference between urgent, important and general activities


  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of Telecoms Industry

  • Educated to good level in commercial discipline

  • Understanding prioritisation of own workload and team's workload

  • Experience of managing processes, GCSE or equivalent (required), Microsoft Word: 1 year (required)

  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (required)

  • Administration: 2 years (required)
