We have provided expert commercial, technical and operational advice and created master plans across the five continents for a wide-range of port projects. We are one of the largest and most experienced teams of port planning professionals and engineers globally and we are world leaders in the production of port feasibility studies, master plans and designs. This role is based in our Newcastle project office located in Marlborough House where you will be working with a consultant team of approximately 25 people, working on Maritime projects across the world.About the Role: In this dynamic role, the candidate will be

  • assisting a project team with administration tasks (approx. 50% of role), and
  • supporting with facility enquiries (approx. 50% of role).
  • Please see further details below: Project Administrator:
  • Format technical reports and review other deliverables for correct formatting, document numbering etc.
  • Make UK and international travel arrangements on behalf of the project team (both on site and remote).
  • Make arrangements for meeting rooms, lunches and events for the project team.
  • Support with document control via Aconex.
  • Support the Cost Engineer with tasks related to project invoicing
  • Facilities Support:
  • Support the RHDHV Facilities Office Manager in the running of the project office.
  • Monitor office supplies and ordering new supplies via our portal.
  • Collect and deliver items to our other Royal HaskoningDHV office in Newcastle.
  • Make arrangements for and be on site to support work with building contractors.
  • What we are looking for:

  • + Excellent teamwork, communication and organisation skills. + Strong attention to detail. + Previous experience of using Microsoft Excel. + Effective time management skills. + Strong integrity and confidentiality.
