Full Job Description

North West Anglia NHS Trust is committed to improving public health and early detection of serious illnesses. One of the key initiatives in this mission is the Targeted Lung Health Check Project, designed to enhance early detection of lung cancer and other lung conditions. Lung cancer remains one of the most prevalent and deadly forms of cancer, and early detection significantly increases the chances of successful treatment and survival. The post holder will be required to provide comprehensive project administrative support to the Cardiology and Respiratory Programme Team.

  • The role will provide day to day support to the Programme Manager, Service Manager and Divisional Operations Manager. The post holder must be able to confidently and efficiently deal with competing priorities in a calm and professional manner. This position will be located cross site, with the opportunity to work from home by negotiation. Project Administrative Duties · Assess correspondence for priority and action, ensuring urgent items are managed accordingly. Where appropriate, communicate orally and in writing with a range of internal and external staff and organisations on behalf of the Programme Team. Be confident using computers on a daily basis; this must include competent and proficient use of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation packages, e-mail, diary management software and the Internet. A basic understanding of project planning software and methodologies would be advantageous.
