Full Job Description

As a Project Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll have the ability to directly contribute to the successful delivery of our complex, high profile and mission critical projects & programmes. Day-to-day, you'll be part of a focused project team supporting various activities required for contract delivery.

  • Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly project/programme reporting requirements.
  • Support risk and opportunity management.
  • Maintain delivery schedules, forecasts and baseline change requests.
  • Raise, control and monitor purchase order requisitions in our business system to initiate key procurement activities.
  • This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the onsite and 3 days working from home. This role may be required to work for longer periods onsite, if the project demands.

  • Good familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience working in teams, with an organised, tasks orientated mindset.
  • Able to show drive and desire to make a daily positive impact.
  • Procurement - raising requisitions, tracking purchase orders.
  • Qualifications for the Project Assistant
  • Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics Grade 5 or equivalent.
  • Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, you will be able to start on Standard (BPSS) with the intention to gain Security Check (SC).
