Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Project Controller to join Thales Underwater Systems (UWS) providing technology to enhance and secure the future of our world leading Sonar Capability to UK and International Navies. You will be responsible for providing project planning and monitoring and control expertise for one of our leading projects. Key to the role is to integrate into the project management team, in order to assist the PM in key decision-making and provide guidance and coaching to the project team. This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not currently held it is expected that the post holder will undergo SC Clearance, please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.

  • You will have proven successful "hands-on" experience in planning, scheduling, data analysis & cost control within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment covering high level & detailed schedule compilation, programme reporting, budgeting & risk management.
  • You will have working knowledge / application of scheduling tools such as Oracle Primavera and Microsoft Project.
