Full Job Description

The Interdisciplinary Ed Tech Lab (IETL) is seeking to appoint a Project Delivery Lead to cover a period of maternity leave in a full-time, fixed term post of 1 year. The Project Delivery Lead will take oversight of and responsibility for the delivery of a range of digital education projects on which the Interdisciplinary EdTech Lab (IETL) are partnering. The post supports the strategic aims of Imperial College London, the Institute of Extended Learning (IEL), the IETL, and our stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of digital education that is both innovative and critical to the student and learner experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to :

  • Work closely with the Head of IETL, Learning Design Lead and Learning Technology and Software Lead to effectively plan resources, prioritise and manage projects and workflows for the team, and track project performance.
  • Engage with project management and a range of stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Head of the IETL to support establishment of the operations and succession planning for the newly formed and work closely with the other teams as part of the roadmap development.
  • Engage with IETL's learning design approach and co-creation lifecycle to enable on time and in scope delivery of digital courses, modules, and programmes.

    Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Experience of concurrently managing multiple and complex projects
  • Experience of working in an educational setting
  • Able to work well in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary parties at all levels.
  • Demonstrable interest in and enthusiasm for the use of technology in education
  • Work within a team taking a pedagogy-first and learner-centred approach, working across multiple digital education platforms to deliver successful projects.
  • Learning new frameworks and technologies within a highly collaborative environment
