Full Job Description

Reporting to the Engineering Manager - the main purpose of the Project Engineer role is to deliver a project from concept design through to fruition, working in conjunction with customers, project managers and engineering and production teams.,

  • Engineering Sales Support
  • Concept Design Generation
  • Attend customer meetings remotely and on site when required
  • Detail design generation
  • Production of manufacturing drawings
  • Producing comprehensive bills of materials for procurement
  • Managing budgets
  • Document in house build and test procedures
  • Oversee assembly of equipment in our own workshop
  • Documenting installation and commissioning procedures for use at customers premises

    Hold strong experience of mechanical design work in a similar industry
  • Proficient with rotating machinery, mechanical handling, fluid power systems, able to integrate control technology into mechanical assemblies.
  • Good knowledge of CE marking and design risk assessments
  • Solidworks and AutoCad experience
  • Project management expertise
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics expertise
  • Willing to occasionally travel to client sites and industrial exhibitions
  • Hold a valid driving license

    The role is a day shift Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 1pm - with some flexibility in working hours
  • The company are based in the Worcester area so are easily commutable from Malvern, Hereford, Cheltenham, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Redditch, Birmingham, Kidderminster Salary - from £30,000 to £50,000 per annum The work environment is a very friendly, supportive and pleasant one - benefits - pension, competitive holidays, free on site parking, training and development opportunities
