Our team provides support for customer operations to ensure continuity for production. Partner with the best You will act as the Baker Hughes engineering representative on individual projects within Flexible Pipe Systems. You will interact with the Senior/Lead Project Engineer to respond to technical queries from the client or their nominated representative. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all interactions to support the customer including logistics, cost estimating, orders being filled, quality of the orders etc.
  • Leading the review and approval of all engineering changes for the product line
  • Ensuring the applicable engineering aspects of quality/safety plans are implemented
  • Producing work orders, engineering reports and other documents in accordance with Baker Hughes procedures
  • Operating to all engineering and project plans, methods and execution policies
  • Checking and approving all engineering designs and reports for the project
  • Conducting assessment of Engineering and Manufacturing Non-Conformances and assist the Quality Representative with closing out those Non-Conformances

    Have Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/ college in structural, marine, naval or mechanical (or high school diploma with relevant experience)
  • Be able to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal/external customers
  • Demonstrate attention to details, with critical thinking, problem solving, and personal organization skills
  • Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Have proven analytical and organizational ability
