Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career. The Project Engineer is responsible for leading engineering projects and project activities that enhance manufacturing capabilities. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Projects Manager and is located in Ilfracombe. This position will be an on-site role. What you'll do:
- Lead engineering projects and project activities that enhance manufacturing capabilities through upgraded or new equipment, following process qualification such as IQOQPQ validation methods.
- Provide ownership and input into structured problem solving activities within established project engineering team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Manufacturing Engineering/Product Engineering and Quality, to identify and deliver engineering solutions.
- Research and quickly learn processes, tools and technologies to deliver engineering project objectives.
Proven experience working within an engineering project environment and demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques. - Proven experience utilising structured problem solving tools (DMAIC, PSP etc) to translate complex technical problems into actionable plans.
- Good communication skills to clearly articulate technical and project problems and project updates through a variety of mediums including functional daily management & cross-functional project updates.
- Proven experience within regulated environment (i.e GMP) and of owning change control activity including process risk assessment (dFMEA/pFMEA or other tool) It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Expertise in a technical discipline within engineering (e.g fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, polymer science)
- Design for manufacture and CAD.
