Full Job Description

The field engineer is responsible of the installation and the maintenance of custom machines (material handling & fastening systems) at Preston workshop & mainly at customer plants. He is focused on quality and safety.,

  • Set up machines at Preston for sign off with the customers
  • Organise delivery to the end user
  • Manage the installations in autonomy (prevention plans, lifting means, etc.)
  • Set up machines at customer sites
  • Refine settings
  • Diagnose and fix potential failures, 25 days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

    Diploma in mechanical or electro technical engineering
  • Experience of 3 years at a similar position in an industrial environment
  • Good skills with hand tools, power tools and good practices for mechanical, pneumatic and electric assembly
  • Knowledge of special machines
  • Office Pack
  • SolidWorks CAD software only for visualisation
  • Forklift driving license / MEWP driving license / Working at height permit, Rigor and Autonomy
