Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Management Assistant to join our Kent Operations Team, based at London Puddle Dock. The Kent Operations team is accountable for train operations across one of the busiest networks in the country, so it is an exciting, fast paced place to work.

The role will require managing the volume of management information, data and reporting on behalf of Kent operations. This will include including managing periodic review meetings and the production of reporting materials on a weekly & periodic drumbeat.

The PMA will also provide an efficient and effective general administrative and secretarial support service for the Kent Operations Team. This includes organising meetings and the production, collation and dissemination of documentation for and resulting from them, such as minutes and following up actions from the meetings, and maintaining relevant records., 1. Assist the Human Resources team in the delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality in a safe manner.

2. Collate, format, and distribute data to support project requirements. Cascade to internal and external parties where appropriate.

3. Using the available reporting systems and guidelines monitor and report on project progress.

4. Maintain and generate project and programme documentation in accordance with project reporting system guidelines.

5. Participate in projects as required.

6. Assist the Human Resources team in providing support to the wider business.

· Educated to HND/HNC level, relevant project or administration experience.

· Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.

· Strong organisation skills

· Good communication skills (verbal and written)

· Computer literate (Word, Excel, PPT)

Desirable

· Knowledge and experience of applying project methodologies.

· Experience of working with a team

· Networking and stakeholder engagement skills
