Full Job Description

Our new team are embarking on a piece of work to monitor data to identify and respond to patterns indicative of potential fraud. This will support our current work that reduces the likelihood of fraud occurring. We will bring in data science capabilities to be deployed in counter fraud activity and work closely with partners across health and government to further maximise the preventative impact of proactive counter fraud analysis.
The Project Manager within NHSCFA has responsibility for the development and delivery of projects assigned to them, they will work across NHS CFA to ensure the lifecycle of projects is documented, managed and supports delivery of NHS CFA strategy and business plan objectives. You will deliver projects allocated by the Programme Manager and work collaboratively with all members of the operational and support teams within the organisation. · Manage systems and processes for monitoring, review of programme and project delivery, escalation of delivery concerns and targeting of action to improve delivery in key areas of activity.
· Ensure organisation projects are deliverable, timescales, benefits and KPIs are well defined to support ongoing monitoring to drive successful achievement.
· Manage systems and processes for monitoring, review of projects and associated performance milestone and benefits delivery, escalation of risks and issues and targeting of mitigating action.
· Provide the expertise in project management to ensure delivery using the appropriate frameworks or methodologies applicable to area of work.
· Work collaboratively with the Director of Performance, Programme Manager, Performance Manager and Heads of Services support activity in relation to project delivery.
· Provide expert support to SRO's and workstream leads in relation to project management ensuring visual delivery and progress tracking.
· Support the delivery of key projects and programmes of work within NHS CFA., · Preparing detailed analysis of highly complex information held on current and projected delivery and performance issues that may impact success. Develop and Inform reports to the NHS CFA Management Groups, SRO's, Board and relevant Committees as required.
· Negotiates with and motivates project delivery, including linking in with other initiatives.
· Communicates sensitive information about project performance delivering complex formal presentations to large groups.
· Ensuring effective processes for monitoring and review of programmes and
projects through NHS CFA Management Groups and Board Committees.
· Organising workstream and project meetings ensuring delivery with active monitoring, creating agendas, ensuring minutes and actions are documented to ensure delivery and progress is accounted for.
· Supporting a culture of robust and consistent project management at all levels in the NHS CFA.
· Working with managers to ensure projects are resourced appropriately to embed success.
