Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver strategic Business Change Programmes at Walsall Council. You will work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Transformation & Digital, providing oversight, risk management, and ensuring successful benefit realisation. You will lead complex projects, manage budgets, and engage with senior executives and stakeholders.,

• Manage and deliver large-scale business change programmes across the Council.


• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of transformational projects.


• Monitor project budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.


• Develop and present business cases and reports for executive approval.


• Proactively manage project risks and interdependencies.


• Oversee quality assurance and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  
  Significant experience in managing large-scale change projects.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2).


• Ability to influence policy, manage change, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
