Project Manager

In support of our continued UK growth, we are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Delivery Team to lead and successfully deliver projects to our customers or internal stakeholders as required. This is a great opportunity for an individual with at least five years' experience in project management in a networking, telecommunications, or cyber-security environment.
Your role as Project Manager
You will be involved in all elements of the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and project scoping, right through to successful solution delivery and handover to our Support and Managed Service teams.
On a day-to-day basis, you will liaise with internal teams, customer representatives, and third-party contractors to deliver your assigned projects in a professional and competent manner. Your projects will need to be delivered on time, within budget and to the high quality levels expected from our customers.
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified, results-driven, detail-orientated individual, with exceptional communication skills and previous experience in a similar role, ready for their next challenge., o Requirements gathering and documenting project scope
o Development of Work Breakdown Structures
o Bid management and creation of bid responses
o Planning all phases of project delivery from a basic POC to complex, multi-phase, multi-site deployments
o Defining and documenting project controls
o Producing and maintaining project documentation
o Carrying out risk identification, analysis, and mitigations
o Managing budgets, resources, and dependencies on assigned projects
o Controlling project scope and managing project changes
o Managing project issues to successful conclusion
o Defining communication strategies and delivering exceptional communications on all projects
o Facilitating smooth interaction between all departments involved in each project
o Reporting project performance
o Finding innovative solutions to complex problems
o Managing time and workloads to produce successful outcomes
o Managing all levels of stakeholders across all projects

Additional requirements include:
o Right to Work in the UK
o PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification (or similar)
o Degree or equivalent preferred
o Five years' project management experience in a similar role
o Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent MS Office skills including MS Project
o Organised and professional with the ability to multi-task
o Meticulous attention to detail
o Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
o Strong leadership and people management skills
o Ability to work independently and to remain calm under pressure
o Full UK driving licence

o This role is based at our Basingstoke office with homeworking by prior agreement - free hot & cold drinks, breakfast items, snacks, lunches, and regular takeaway Fridays are provided to all staff in the office!
o Hours are full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
o There will be some travel with overnight stays in the UK and abroad where necessary
