Full Job Description

Our client are an award winning housebuilder who are consistently 5 star rated with a reputation for quality and innovation. They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead a project team in the delivery of a flagship 450-unit timber frame development in East Sussex.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

Head up a large-scale project from inception to completion, overseeing all aspects of construction.
Lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals, driving performance and achieving project goals.
Work with innovative and sustainable materials , utilising timber frame construction techniques.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the project plan, ensuring timely and efficient delivery within budget.
Manage all aspects of construction, including procurement, sub-contracting, and quality control.
Lead a team of Site Managers, Assistants, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support.
Monitor progress against targets, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.

Skills and Experience:

Proven track record as a Project Manager in the residential construction industry.
Extensive experience with timber frame construction methodologies.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
A thorough understanding of building regulations and health and safety standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
