Full Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to manage bids or projects on customer upgrades to existing Full Mission Simulators. The principal responsibility and objective is ensuring that all activities and deliverables are met within the agreed terms of contract including timescale, specifications, quality and budget, to the satisfaction of and acceptance by the customer.,

  • Planning, setting up, organising, documenting, executing and concluding a project in accordance with approved processes, procedures, methods and tools whilst employing a 'Best Practices' approach in all instances.

  • Presenting and reporting the project progress and activities to senior stakeholders

  • Supporting in the defining, establishing, managing and leading a high performing and successful integrated project organisation, including individual and team resource profiling.

  • Implementing, maintaining and managing all elements of project management including: integration, value, scope, quality, procurement, time, finance, human resource, risk, opportunities and communications.

  • Ensuring that programme plans and estimates for bids are appropriately developed and reviewed.

  • Managing the requirements of multiple stakeholders (internal & external) on a project.

    This role would suit someone at the beginning of their career in Project Management, who is looking to develop their skills and take their next step up. You could be a graduate who has already completed a Project Management placement, or an Assistant Project Manager who is keen to take over the reins. We are also happy to consider someone who has already established themselves as a Project Manager and is looking for a new challenge.

  • Hands-on experience in Project Management that covers project control, financial reporting, budgeting, process development, lean manufacturing, quality or environmental management.

  • Experience and a proven track record of Customer focussed behaviour in the delivery of projects.
