If so, this is the role for you! You will be joining a diverse team of professionals in NHSBT during an exciting year as we grow our team and support our transformational projects. NHSBT has a large portfolio of complex, sometimes high-risk projects and programmes and this role is critical in managing the design and delivery of key interventions across the NHSBT estate. Note: This role offers a hybrid working option; however, you will be assigned a base location at one of NHSBTs main centres, which will be finalized after the interview process is complete., As a Project Manager you will manage Transformation projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business strategies, budgets, and operational needs. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing specific projects under the Programme and Portfolio Manager's guidance, maintaining high professional standards and compliance with all relevant regulations. Deputising for the Programme and Portfolio Manager as needed, supporting project and programme assurance across the organisation. Contributing to Transformation portfolio planning, reporting, and the development of NHS Blood & Transplant Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management tools and methods. Maintaining project documentation, such as board update packs, project plans, runbooks, and RAIDD logs. You will be required to travel and spend time away from base, which will involve working irregular hours and overnight stays when required, with prior notice.
