Operating in conjunction with the wider work of the devolution agenda, Health Innovation Manchester (HInM) is leading a programme of innovation across the entire health and social care community to ensure population health needs are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
Established by Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership to drive innovation into the system, the role of Health Innovation Manchester is to act as a systems enabler, partnering with academia, industry and healthcare providers, helping to connect emerging research with industry innovators, accelerating the development and adoption of innovations and aligning them with the region's most pressing health and social care challenges., We are looking for two Project Managers to join our team on temporary basis to support the following projects:
Digital - GMCR: HInM is leading delivery of a high-profile programme to successfully deliver comprehensive and wide-reaching Greater Manchester Shared Care Record Programme (GMRC). This role will be instrumental in the delivery of two key workstreams a) Optimisation of the GMCR record usage and b) and development and implementation of Digital Integrated Care Plans on the GMCR.
The role will support the Programme Lead and Programme Director of Digital and Data with delivery of the GMCR Integrated Care Planning Programme and Shared Care Record Optimisation across Greater Manchester. The post holder will have a proven knowledge of digital innovation, the Care sector, innovation, adoption and using digital implementation methodologies with multiple teams in a variety of contexts to deliver high-profile strategic programmes.
Patient Safety: As a key component of the NHS Patient Safety Strategy, the National Patient Safety Improvement Programmes (NatPatSIPs) address the most important safety issues and embed improvement methods and measurement into management systems. The Patient Safety Collaboratives (PSCs) are commissioned by the NHS England patient safety team as the delivery partners for the national improvement priorities., The main purpose of this post is to manage and deliver the objectives and outcomes of Health Innovation Manchester (HInM) projects which positively impact on benefits to people within Greater Manchester.
The primary function of the role is to a provide project management function for the development and implementation of projects within the HInM Business Plan.
The post holder will be expected to plan, project manage, implement and disseminate the learning from specific delegated projects. This will involve supporting a wide range of member organisations to deliver projects developed to bring about improvements in service delivery and health outcomes for the Greater Manchester system.
The roles will involve responsibility for the management of allocated projects, from securing engagement, "buy in" and commitment to implementing the project with a wide range of key stakeholders and NHS partnerships.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that measurable outcomes are deliverable.
The post holder will work on setting milestones for projects and reviewing and negotiating contract arrangements.
The role will report to an assigned programme lead and will liaise closely with colleagues in partner organizations, including suppliers, commissioners, place-based leads, and other NHS partners, and other key stakeholders.
The postholder will be responsible for budget reporting to the assigned programme lead relating to funding for the programme. This will include leading the internal and external reporting on the progress for the programme on a regular basis as well as ad-hoc status reporting.
The post holder will provide representation for Health Innovation Manchester (HInM) and the Integrated Care System (ICS).
Depending on the assigned portfolio, the post holder will work with Digital Senior Leaders to further build credible programme delivery plans in line with the digital strategy and HInM priorities or with quality/governance/safety/clinical leaders to gain buy-in to the Patient Safety Collaborative support offer.
Working with the Senior Responsible Officer, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring appropriate governance arrangements, smooth management and delivery.
