Project Manager

Part of the GTS (Global Technology Sourcing) Business Function, our Process Excellence Team typically undertakes improvement aligned with strategy or processes, with sponsorship from the Computacenter Directors and Group Exec. The team are process experts and subject matter experts in their own field but have a common deep knowledge of Computacenter, its principles and its organisational functions, processes and systems across all of our Group Countries including: France, UK, Germany, US, Belgium and Netherlands. With strong networking and relationship-building skills, our change and project management approach is centred on pulling together subject matter experts and key resources across Computacenter Group globally as well as working with internal teams and external experts in pursuit of process maturity and efficiency. With a successful track record of Process development, we are now expanding our team and are looking to introduce a Project Manager to lead and implement Projects within our portfolio of work. The range of topics and improvements are so diverse that no two projects are alike. We aim to keep one step ahead and we believe in continuous improvement. Collaboration with the teams across Group Technology Sourcing is integral to the successful delivery of projects within GTS. What you'll do As a Project Manager 1 (PM1) in Computacenter's Technology Sourcing & Innovation, you will be supporting Lead Project Managers and managing smaller or less complex assignments or work- streams on larger projects and programmes. How you'll fit in You will be part of our exciting and diverse Technology Sourcing (TSI) & Innovation in Group Technology Sourcing. The people in TSI have a real drive to achieve success. Our interdisciplinary teams are not only on the same wavelength, we work collaboratively, we share knowledge and we celebrate success You'll also get to engage with other areas within Computacenter, including: Partner Management, Inside Sales, Product Information Management, Logistics & Technical Services, Expert Services and Technology Sourcing Innovation Your overall responsibility is for meeting the commitments made to internal customers and internal stakeholders to successfully deliver the assignment or for supporting your Lead PM in this. (Your responsibilities will be defined in your terms of reference or the project control documentation). These will be delivered alongside the agreed financial or tangible outcome of the assignment. In support of this, you're expected to broadly understand both what Computacenter delivers and the processes undertaken to achieve successful delivery of the products. Additional tasks will include change management, business management, process creation, and being able to responsibly and effectively manage project outcomes. You may also have responsibility of a team. Objectives will be set out and will be discussed regularly for each assignment or project you work on, and any questions you have you will be fully supported! An example of objectives may include: o Specific assignment requirements o Deliverables and Return of Investment o Delivering the products to the agreed quality, time and cost o Maximising and delivery activities

• Trained in Project Management, for example Prince2, to Foundation level and working towards a Practitioner qualification or equivalent, Agile techniques.
• A demonstrable track record of delivering successful project outcomes.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Aware of the need to be Emotionally Intelligent, to adapt personal style and approach to meet customer needs.
• Be able to understand the Business outputs required from your assignment.
• Skilled user of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook & Project and other relevant tools.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Language skills in two of the following: French, German, English
