Full Job Description

The Project Manager, Routes to Revenue Customer Success Programs is accountable for the delivery of complex and high-profile projects and programs for Sage working closely with business colleagues across all regions. Recognized as an expert in their craft with the ability to drive large scale and complex projects to successful execution the Project Manager, Routes to Revenue Customer Success Program will be responsible for initiating, setting direction, creating plans, and defining and managing resources to ensure successful project completion. You will provide advice and counsel related to the successful delivery of assigned projects. You thrive in tools such as project plans, gantt charts, and progress trackers and are committed to success through relentless pursuit of all stakeholders. This role indirectly leads teams of multidisciplinary colleagues in a virtual and matrix environment to ensure project delivery is executed to the highest standards and risks and issues are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities and milestones associated with running a portfolio of projects
  • Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the project schedule and key milestones. Communicates in a professional, courteous, and timely manner with all stakeholders
  • Owns project planning tool including selection of system, creation of project plan, consistent updates, and creating visibility to all key stakeholders
  • Assesses creation and signoff of project plan and charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log
  • Ensures project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents
  • Works with Project Sponsor to ensure business case cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives
  • Escalates risks to the appropriate stakeholders, offering solutions to ensure project delivers to scope, on time, and under budget

    5+ years of experience managing project delivery in a commercial environment
  • Expert knowledge of project management tools and skills required to update and manage a project plan successfully
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince stakeholders in a respectful and courteous manner
  • Change management mindset with a sense of urgency to serve as the momentum for all projects
  • Execution capabilities as it relates to managing time, multiple projects, and risk profiles effectively
  • Process-oriented with comfort using systems to track and report on customer activities
  • Establish trust-based relationships with Customer Success teams to encourage adoption of your programs
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in SaaS organizations
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, often rapidly changing environments
