Full Job Description

Landmarc Support Services currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team at West Tofts Camp. As the Project Manager, you will manage multiple small works, construction projects across the Defence Training Estate, in the East region.,

  • Ensure all life cycle projects are delivered efficiently, to appropriate quality standards, on time and to budget
  • Manage a high volume of minor small works projects (electrical, mechanical and fabric)
  • Liaise with all relevant parties involved in the project, including clients, sub-contractors and the internal FM team
  • Financial responsibility for all minor works completed
  • Understand and interpret budgets and contract requirements
  • Produce relevant plan of works for each project, incorporating in-house and sub-contracted services
  • Carry out project review meetings with all stakeholders
  • Ensure that the agreed profit percentage is made on all projects
  • When required, support the Contract Support Office projects team with regional major projects, this will include but not be limited to, progress reviews, Health and Safety inspections and quality control

    Time served in a technical (mechanical, electrical or building fabric) field (desired)
  • Gained, or working towards, a Project Management Qualification - Level 4 or above
  • Membership of a professional project management body or evidence of progress towards either
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a varied range of life cycle projects up to the value of £100k
  • Demonstrable understanding of CDM
  • Workload scheduling and work order processes, preferably in a multi-tasking environment
  • Understanding and appreciation of project management principles
  • Experience of working with the MoD and preferably DIO
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Knowledge of health and safety evidenced with IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
