Full Job Description

The Project Manager will report to the Director of Engineering and will support the Data Team, work with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, design workflows, and will serve as the bridge between technology / business units and support the team with production support and delivery tasks. This role will involve liaising with stakeholders across the organization and at times serving as a proxy for the Director of Engineering; superb verbal and written communication are a prerequisite.,

  • Work across multi-functional teams to ensure alignment of deliverables
  • Generate data driven reporting and analysis
  • Investigate issues and work proactively to remove roadblocks
  • Gather project status for reporting and liaise between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Take notes, document decisions, follow up on deliverables
  • Communicate with stakeholders on projects / deliverables

    The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a project/program manager or similar in the capital markets or financial technology industries (other experience will be considered)
  • The ability to quickly grasp highly technical concepts and become an SME on our products, team dynamics and project workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately
  • Independent self-starter who can manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
  • Eagerness to learn the business and recommend/implement ways to improve our processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and advanced skills in Excel are a must
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence and Agile methodology
  • Professional certification such as CAPM/PMP/PBA from the Project Management Institute
  • Technical/software/systems engineering background
