Full Job Description
Based at London Blackfriars, as Project Manager (change), youll work across the full and diverse portfolio of change and improvement workstreams.
The role will be at the forefront of leading projects and workstreams that will have impactful change across the region in all our different disciplines, these range from People to Maintenance, from Operations to Engineering, Joint Industry Change and many more..
The role of the change team extends further that just delivery of the product, its all about leading and integrating the change with our people across the business and industry., 1. Agree remit and success criteria of change projects with the relevant Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
2. Manage the development and delivery of change projects in compliance with company processes and procedures.
3. Manage the production of project management plans for change projects.
4. Establish and manage collaborative cross-functional virtual teams to deliver change projects, where appropriate.
5. Deliver regular progress reports on change projects, including relevant risks and issues, to Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
6. Manage project budgets within agreed targets.
7. Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods.
If you have proven experience of delivering change whether it be in people, asset, operations, maintenance, performance, passenger we would love to hear from you., · Relevant experience in the successful management of major and complex change projects.
· Experience of applying project methodologies
Desirable
· Educated to degree level
· Member of project association
· Commercial and financial awareness.
· Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
· Knowledge of/experience in the UK rail industry.
