Full Job Description

As the Quality and Improvement Service Manager within the SENAR team, you will report directly to the Head of SENAR. This is a high profile, challenging position. You will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and expertise to ensure continuous improvement in the work of the SENAR service. You will be accountable for leading:

  • Quality assurance, monitoring, and service evaluation so that opportunities for improvement are identified and embedded
  • Preparation, planning and co ordination of evidence for Ofsted and/ or other statutory inspections
  • Maintaining robust strategic data intelligence and reporting frameworks so that leaders within SENAR can ensure the service fulfils statutory and regulatory duties
  • The recruitment of excellent colleagues within SENAR, onboarding, induction and continuing professional development
  • Performance management practices so that success is celebrated and areas of concern are addressed swiftly and appropriately
  • Maintaining a clear focus on relationship based, customer care so that the service continues to build trust with families and other stakeholders
  • You will line manage a team of Senior Officers who will support you in this ambitious and important work. Your proven impact leading improvement in professional practice and service delivery for children, young people and families will form the basis of your credibility in this role. You will be excellent at communicating with, and motivating, colleagues at all levels within the service. You will be used to working to deadlines and be adept at managing a number of different priorities simultaneously. You will thrive in a role that requires you to influence all stakeholders to deliver change and improvements that make a positive difference to the lives of children, young people and families.
