Full Job Description
Project Manager GEIS EMEA will be responsible for the successful project management and execution of Projects within scope, time and budget, leading the platform, site or Business Unit Program Management and Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and financial performance by managing stakeholders, project delivery and team relationships. What you'll do:
- Manage the Profit and Loss budget of the project.
- Responsibility, and Accountability for project completion within agreed scope.
- Project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
- Facilitate the implementation of program management processes at the site, business unit or region.
- Supervise the Project and/or Program Managers assigned to the Project / Program or site / business unit. Establishes objectives and goals and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer need, transition, M&A, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.
- Provide overall Platform or site / business unit interface with all stakeholders. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
- Ensure adequate support to the project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
- Maintain metrics for projects, quality, technical performance and delivery through all of the PROLaunch phases.
- Coordinate all risks and requirements of the project / program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all projects and programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
- Ensure effective change management process (ADKAR) is utilized.
- Provide regular updates (Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to project milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional, group and sector levels.
- Play a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.
- Seek team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coaches and provides feedback/rewards on performance indicators.
- Coordinate and monitor a One Eaton program technical personnel across multiple sites.
Bachelor's degree, preferably engineering - Min 7-8 years of experience in project management
- Proven knowledge on Project Management, PMP or similar certification is a plus Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and organizational skills
- Excellent skills in using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite,
- Strong leadership and project execution skills
