Full Job Description

In the role of Project Manager, you will plan for and ensure quality and timeliness of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product. You will participate in requirements elicitation, analysis of architecture, create and review design and contribute to activities related to estimation, staffing analysis & solutioning and risk planning. You will act as a mentor and support the project team in developing optimized high-quality deliverables. Technical Skills

  • Main technologies and areas should cover: Virtualization, Wintel, IBM i/AIX, SAN/NAS Storage, Networking, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Networking and Backup.

  • Virtualization/Cloud/High Availability (VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, vCloud)

  • Storage (EMC/Netapp/HDS SAN, NAS, DAS, data replication)

  • Data center relocation, server migrations

  • EUC (Desktop/Laptop/Thin, XenDesktop/VDI, AD, GPO, SCCM, packaging, OS images, app publishing), Experience should consist of a broad range of infrastructure solutions delivered to clients in Europe and Asia.

  • Design large scale solutions ranging from just a few servers to environments hosting thousands of machines located in geographically dispersed data centers

  • Should have participated and led a number of Transition and Transformation programs, migrated servers and services between data centers, managed architecture teams.

  • Should have worked closely with transition executive and tower leads on migration approach and planning providing necessary architecture input.

  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

  • Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
