This role will be based on University campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to work on the My First 1000 Days project which looks to improve the lives of families living in disadvantaged areas of Leeds, West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating the delivery of the 'My First 1000 Days' project.
My First 1000 Days is a transformational initiative from the University of Leeds. Researchers from across the University, practitioners who work with families and experts-by-experience (families themselves) will collaborate to develop, deliver and evaluate a disability-inclusive family group care programme, to be delivered in communities, with an approach that is family-centred and strength-based.
The Project Manager role will report to the Project Investigator and work with a wide range of stakeholders to help influence priorities and decisions to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes. The role will manage the decision-making process and monitor progress and actions with the project team throughout the project lifecycle. You'll need to be able to juggle priorities, help keep the team aligned and aware of their responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage risks, providing accurate and articulate reports on the project's progress throughout.

With relevant experience in project management, you will have a can do, results focussed mindset. Experience of managing research projects and an understanding of the Higher Education environment is helpful but not essential.
